Kristen Petterson Miller

Kristen Pettersen Miller

Kristen Pettersen Miller joined Dillon & Findley, P.C.’s Anchorage office in 1995. She was made a shareholder in 2001, relocated to Juneau in 2002, and became ‘Of Counsel’ to the firm in 2006.

Throughout her tenure at Dillon & Findley, P.C., Kristen has achieved tremendous success in her litigation efforts and, in particular, her persuasive motions and appellate work.  She has adeptly litigated complex disputes in a broad variety of fields, including but not limited to personal injury, professional negligence, insurance bad faith and coverage disputes and class actions. Since moving to Juneau, Kristen has focused her practice predominantly on municipal law, business litigation and real property disputes. When she’s not slaving over a brief, she is typically golfing and scuba diving with her family in some exotic locale, or running, hiking, boating or skiing in Southeast Alaska while on a break from producing her next opera.

Kristen was born in New York and raised in Connecticut. She received her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Colby College in 1990, where she was also made a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She obtained her J.D. from the University of Colorado School Of Law in 1994. Kristen is admitted to practice before all Alaska Courts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Claims.
